Often when I am writing, editing photos or working on projects I look for music that is poignant yet subtle. Sounds that keep my interest, feed my creativity, but aren't loud and disruptive. Hundred Waters is definitely just that.
This quartet hails from Gainesville, Florida. They make subtle, dreamy, electronic music with ethereal, often repetitious (in a good way) vocals. The more I listen, the more I fall in love with their interesting percussion, eclectic sounds and unique approach to crafting music that is purely sonically pleasing.
Take a second to check them out for yourself below - my favourite tracks are 'Murmurs' and 'Cavity' off their most recent album: The Moon Rang Like A Bell.
Whether you love it or hate it for being unique - they're definitely putting something new and interesting into the music industry and in my humble opinion that always warrants a good listen.
